The 5500 square foot Center in Chicago was opened in 2007. The advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment is unsurpassed and is visited by physicians from around the world. The Fibroid Treatment Collaborative and Chicago Urogynecology are located in Lincoln Park on Chicago’s Northside. It is minutes from downtown and immediately accessible by public transportation.
Abraham Shashoua, M.D. – Dr. Shashoua completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago. He is the former Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weiss Hospital, and now serves the as the Center’s Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
Traci Beck, M.D. – Dr. Beck completed her residency in Urology at the University of Chicago and her fellowship at Cedar-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. She is the only female urologist in Chicago who is fellowship-trained in female urology.
Sean George, M.D. – Dr. George completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and his post-graduate training in Urogynecology at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
Kenneth D. Candido M.D. – Dr. Kenneth D. Candido is Professor of Anesthesiology and Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He has written almost one-hundred original articles and book chapters on the management of pain. He is a nationally renowned lecturer and productive member of the American Society of Anesthesiologist’s Committee on Pain Management.

The Fibroid Treatment Collaborative and Austin Urogynecology is located in Austin, Texas, minutes from downtown adjacent to St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.
George Shashoua, M. D. – George Shashoua, M.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Texas. He attended Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed his residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center at Jacksonville. Dr. Shashoua is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
